Shipping Policy — 9thara

At 9thara, we want your order to reach you as beautifully as it left us. Here is everything about how, where, and when we ship — written plainly, so there are no surprises.


Where we ship

We ship across India. 9thara delivers to most pincodes through our trusted courier partners. To confirm we deliver to you, simply enter your pincode at checkout — if it's serviceable, you're good to go.

(We currently ship within India only. International shipping is coming soon.)


Order processing

  • Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days (Monday–Saturday, excluding public holidays).
  • Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
  • The moment your order ships, we'll send you a tracking link by SMS, email, and WhatsApp.

During festival seasons and major sale periods, processing may take an extra day or two — we'll always keep you updated.


Delivery timelines

Once dispatched, your order typically arrives within:

Destination Estimated delivery
Metro cities 3–5 business days
Other cities & towns (tier 2–3) 5–8 business days
Remote & hard-to-reach areas (NE India, J&K, islands, etc.) 7–12 business days

These are estimates from the date of dispatch, not guarantees. Actual delivery may vary with your location and courier conditions.


Shipping charges

  • Free shipping on all prepaid orders above ₹999.
  • Orders below ₹999: a flat ₹49 shipping fee (prepaid).
  • All prices on 9thara are inclusive of GST. No hidden charges at checkout.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

We know how much COD matters, so we offer it across most serviceable pincodes.

  • COD is available on orders up to ₹5,000.
  • A small ₹49 COD convenience fee applies per order (waived on prepaid orders).
  • Please keep the exact amount ready at delivery. Where the courier supports it, you may also pay by UPI on delivery.
  • COD may not be available for certain pincodes or high-value orders — this will be shown at checkout.

Prepaid orders ship faster and skip the COD fee — a small nudge, because it genuinely helps you and us.


Tracking your order

  • You'll receive a tracking link by SMS, email, and WhatsApp once your order is dispatched.
  • Please allow up to 24 hours after dispatch for tracking to become active.
  • You can also track your order anytime from your account or our Track Order page.

Delivery attempts & failed delivery

  • Our courier partners attempt delivery up to 3 times.
  • If an order can't be delivered due to an incorrect address, an unreachable phone number, repeated unavailability, or COD refusal, it is returned to us (RTO).
  • For prepaid RTO orders, we'll reship on request or refund you minus the actual shipping cost.
  • To avoid this, please double-check your address and phone number at checkout and stay reachable for the courier.

Damaged, wrong, or missing items

Please inspect your parcel at the time of delivery. If anything is damaged, incorrect, or missing:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order ID and clear photos or an unboxing video.
  • We'll arrange a replacement or refund as per our Return & Refund Policy.

A short unboxing video is the fastest way for us to resolve any issue — we recommend it for jewellery and higher-value orders.


A few things to note

  • Large orders may ship in multiple parcels and arrive separately.
  • 9thara is not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control — courier disruptions, weather, festivals, strikes, or other force majeure — but we will always help you resolve them.
  • Risk and ownership of the products pass to you once the order is delivered to your address.
